  The Barking Whippett at the top of the stairs was not a great welcome but I had come this far ! Left photograph in to be framed, was told I would be informed when it was ready. I heard nothing and after about 3 weeks called in to check on progress.Some how it had been overlooked and was still unframed, no apology given.When I did collect framed photo there was a crack in glass which I only noticed when I got home. Returned item , again no apology. Collected photo again but when I tried to hang photo string kept slipping. Owner couldn't understand this but would "fix" it. When I returned yet again my verdict was indeed correct he agreed that he couldn't get string tight enough and the hooks had been removed leaving holes and new fixtures placed at either end of photo .I would need to have a drill to put the photo up and the fixtures would be visible. The reason for this, according to the owners was clear.....my photo was too long !! And most framers just frame, the way you get it on the wall is irrelevant according to Art & Framing! No wonder it took me over 30 years to get round to getting it framed ! BARKING !!
